Daniel Jacob Radcliffe

Daniel Jacob Radcliffe was born on 23rd July 1989 in England. He was born in the West London. His father’s name is Alan George Radcliffe. He was a literary agent. Radcliffe’s mother’s is Marcia Jeannine Gresham. She was born in South Africa and grows up in Westcliff-on- Sea, Essex. She was a Jewish. She was involved in several films for BBC. He is an English actor who is well known for his film character Harry Potter written by famous writer J.K Rowling. Radcliffe starts acting when he was ten. He acted in the Movie David Copperfield in 1999, it was a television movie. In 2001 he acted in the film The Tailor of Panama. He has acted in the Harry Potter film when he was eleven. He acted in that series film for ten years (eight and final film in July 2011) and become film star. n 2007 he starts acting in stage.

Radcliffe not only acted in films but also contributed in many charities like Demelza House Children’s
Hosp9ce and The Trevor Project. In 2011 for his contribution in Trevor Project’s he was awarded “Hero Award”.

Early life and education:
Radcliffe was raised without religion and he love acting from his childhood. Radcliffe made his debut acing in December 1999 when he was ten. He studies in two different boys schools. One is the Sussex House School and the other is City of London School. Radcliffe start acting in Harry Potter movie when he was in school. He was not very good at school. He achieve ‘A’ grades in the three A-levels examination in 2006 after that he stop his education and concentrate on his acting and writing.

Personal life:
In 2008 Radcliffe suffers from a mild form of the neurological disorder dyspraxi. In August 2010 he stopped drinking alcohol because he found himself too reliant on it. Radcliffe is a supporter of Labour Party. He is a fan of underground and punk music. He also love cricket, including cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. He also write shout stories and poetry. Radcliffe published several poems under the pen name Jacob Gershon.

Charity:
Radcliffe also involved with various charities. He designed the Cu-Bed for Habitat’s VIP Kids range, with all the royalties from the sale of the bed going directly to his favorite charity, Demelza House Children’s Hospice in Sittingbourne, Kent. He also encourage his fans to make donations, in lieu of Christmas presents to him, to the charity’s Candle lr Care program. He has also donated money to Get Connected UK, a London-based free confidential national helpline for troubled youth.
