Evanna Lynch

Evanna Patricia Lynch was born 16th August 1991. She was born in Ireland. She is an Irish actress and model. She became well-known to movie lovers for the role Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter Film series. She acted in four Harry Potter films. Evanna is a member of Board of Advisors of a organization The Harry Potter Alliance which is a non-profit organization. She also works as a model in various magazines.

Childhood & education

Her Mother’s name is Marguerite and father’s name is Donal Lynch. Evanna has two sisters there names are
Emily and Mairead. She also has a brother, his name is Patrick. Evanna use to read Harry Potter series and became fan. At the age of 11 she sent letters to the author J. K. Rowling for two years. Evanna suffered from anorexia because she has no answer from the author. Because of this Rowling use to sent her letters for encouragement.

Evanna studied in Cartown National School which was in Termonfeckin. She studied there until June 2004. She studies in Our Lady’s College which was in Drogheda, at that time Evanna’s father was deputy principal. Evanna studied in speculative fiction and drama in 2008 from the centre for the Talented Youth of Ireland.

Acting career

In 2006 Evanna auditioned in London for the role Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She competed against 15000 other girls. She also subsequent screen test with the lead actor Daniel Radcliffe at the age of 14. Produces were impressed because of her outstanding perform. In 2007 her first movie Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was released. The film became box office hit and earned $938 million US dollar. After two years she again acted in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as Luna. This film was also box office hit. Evanna earned Scream Award and Young Artist Award nomination for her great acting. She also acted in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 1 which was released in 2010 which was also successful. In the same year she again acted in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2 which become the third highest grossing film of all time.

Evanna not only acted in films but also make and helped design a number of fashion accessories for the Harry Potter films. She also appeared as a model.
