Jackie Chan was born on 7th April 1954 in British Hong Kong. He is a Hong Kong actor, comedian, director producer, choreographer, martial artist, singer and stunt performer, screenwriter. In his move he used acrobatic fighting style and innovative stunts. He did all of his stunts himself in his all films. His acting career starts in 1960s and acted over 150 films. He is an action hero but he use action mixed with comedy. Jackie Chan is a cultural icon. He has received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Hong Kong Avenue of Stars.He has won 27 awards and nominated for awards about 33 times.
Early life
Jackie Chan attended the Nah-Hwa Primary School on Hong Kong Island and he failed in the first year
and his parents withdrew him from the school. His father immigrated to Canada in 1960 to work for the American embassy as the head cook. Jackie Chan was send to the China Drama Academy which was run by Master Yu Jim-yuen. It was a Peking Opera School. For the next decade, Jackie Chan was trained rigorously. He became expert on martial arts and acrobatics during those years. Gaining the stage name Yuen Lo in homage to his master, Jackie Chan eventually became part of the Seven Little Fortunes, a performance group made up of the school’s best student. Jackie Chan became friends with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao. Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao were his fellow group members. Grand master Jim Pal Kim trained Jackie Chan and Sammo Hing “Hapkido”. Jackie Chan earned a black belt.

Jackie Chan starts his acting career when he was five. At first he acted in small roles and at the age of eight he and some of his friends acted in the film “Big and Little Wong Tin Bar” in 1962. In 1963 He acted in the film “The Love Eterne”. In the 1966 he plays a small role in the film King Hu’s. In 1971 he acted in the film Come Drink with Me. Jackie Chan starts his acting career by signing to Chu Mu’s Great Earth Film Company. He works as a stuntman at the age of seventeen in the Bruce Lee films “Fist of Fury” and “Enter the Dragon”. That year (1973) he starred in the film “Little Tiger of Canton” which was his first starring role but it had a limited release in Hong Kong. His first starring was not successful as a result he had trouble finding stunt work. In 1975 Jackie Chan starred in a nude comedic sex scene “All in the Family”, which was his first nude film without a single fight scene or stunt sequence. Jackie Chan has starred in another adult film, “The Shinjuku Incident”, after that he haven’t acted in any adult film.
In 1976 Jackie Chan joined his parents in Canberra he studied in Dickson College and worked as a construction worker. In the 90s, he changed his Chinese name to Fong si-lung. His father’s original surname was Fung.

Personal life
Jackie Chan is a Buddhist. 1982 Jackie Chan married to a Taiwanese actress, Lin Feng-Jiao. He has a son name Jaycee Chan, he is also an actor. Elaine Ng Yi-Lei had a daughter, Etta in 1999. She claimed Chan was Etta’s father but Jackie Chan admitted the affair but did not formally announced Etta as his daughter.
Jackie Chan can speak Cantonese, English, American Sign Language and Mandarin. He also can speak some Spanish, Korean, Japanese, German and Thai. He lived in Thailand for a short period at the age of 9 and 16, that time he learned boxing. He learns from a former professional boxer who had a broken leg.
Jackie Chan is also a humanitarian and a donor. In 1988 he founded a foundation named Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation which offers scholarships and active help to Hong Kong’s young people through a variety of worthy causes. Jacky Chan also founded a foundation named Dragon’s Heart Foundation in 2005 to give much-needed educational opportunities for the poor and elderly with donations of warm clothing, wheelchairs and other items. In 2009 the University of Cambodia gave him an honorary doctorate.
