Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp’s full name is John Christopher Depp. He was born in 9th June, 1963. He is an action hero. He is an American actor, film producer and musician. He won many awards for being Best Actor (Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild award). Johnny Depp attracts people by acting career when he act in a television series 21 Jump street in 1980s, that time he become teen idol. But Johnny Depp was not satisfied and starts acting in film for more challenging roles. In 1999 he starred the film Sleepy Hollow which was box office hit. Then he starred in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, Rango and the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. He has directed eight films collaborated with his friend director Tim Burton. In 2003 and 2009 ‘People magazine’ twice named him as the “Sexiest Man Alive”.  In 2012 his name was put in the “Guinness Book of World Records” for ‘the highest paid actor’ with $ 75 million.

Early life

Johnny Depp was born in Owensboro which is in Kentucky. He was grown up in Florida. His fathers name is John Christopher Depp. He was a civil engineer and his mother’s name is Betty Sue Palmer, she is a
waitress. Johnny Depp has four brothers and he is the youngest. When Johnny Depp was 15 his parents got divorced. In his childhood Johnny Depp had some family problems which leads him to self-harm activities, (out of stress) like self-inflicted scars. His mother gave his a guitar his age was 12. Johnny Depp played it in various bands. One year later his parents got divorce. Johnny Depp’s intention to be a rock musician leads him to drop out of high school. After two weeks he tries to get back to school but his principal told him to follow his dream (to be a musician). He starts playing with the Kids, band which gain some local success and after that they went to Los Angeles for a record deal. They change their name to Six Gun Method but before signing a record deal their group split up. After that he join the band Rock City Angels and co-write their song ”Mary”.

Depp got married to Anne Allison on 24th December 1983. Anne was the sister of his band’s bass player and singer. His wife works as a makeup artist. His wife introduced Johnny Depp with actor Nicolas Cage. Cage advised him to be an actor. In 1985 Johnny Depp and Anne got divorced.  Johnny Depp and Sherilyn Fenn auditioned for the film ‘Thrashin’ in 1986.  Sherilyn Fenn was his subsequent fiance. They were both cast and Johnny Depp was chosen to star as the lead by the film’s Director but later he turned down by the film’s producer.

Personal life

In 1983 Johnny Depp married to Lori Anne Allison Later (after divorce), he successively engaged to actresses Jennifer Grey and Sherilyn Fenn in the 1980s. After that in 1990 he engaged to Winona Ryder (Edward Scissorhands co-star). Depp maintain relationship for four years with British supermadel Kate Moss. Then he met Vanessa Paradis while filming The Ninth Gate and began relationship with her. Depp and Paradis announced their separation in June 2012.

Depp has two children with Paradis. His daughter Lily-Rose Melody who was born 1999 and his son John Jack Christopher Depp were born in 2002.
