Anna Popplewell

Anna Katherine Popplewell was born in 16th December 1988 in London. She is an actress. She acts in English Film, television and theater. She became famous by acting in a film series named Chronicles of Narnia since 2005. Her role was Susan Pevensie in that film.

Early life:

Anna’s father’s name is Andrew Popplewell. Her mother’s name is Debra Lomas. Debra is a doctor, she is a dermatologist. Andrew and Debra have three children. Anna is the eldest of them. She has two younger actor siblings they are Lula Popplewell and Freddie Popplewell. They became famous by acting as Michael Darling in the film Peter Pan. Anna Studied in North London Collegiate School in 2006-2007.

Career:

Anna love acting since she was a child. She starts acting when she was six. She took acting lesson from Allsorts Drama School and start professionally acting in TV production Frenchman’s Creek in 1998. Anna first starts professional acting in the film Mansfield Park in 1999. Since then she appeared in the supporting roles in various flim like The Little Vampire-2000, Girl With a Pearl Earring-2003, Scarlett Jogansson and Love in a Cold Climate.

Anna’s first majore role in the flim was The Choronical of Narnia-The Loin, The Witch and the Wardrobe. This film was released in 2005. Then In May 16th 2008, The Chronicles of Narnia-Prince Caspian was released. She made a cameo appearance in the third Narnia flim-The Voyage of the Dawn Trader.

In 2007 Anna received the Cuppers Prize in a student production of Five Kinds of Silence. Anna play;ed Lady Macbeth in a student production at the OFS Studio in Oxord. 2008 she performed in the controversial play Spring Awakening. In 2012 she played in the live action 5 part mini series called Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.

Achievements:

2006: Anna won Camie Awards for Susan Pevensie in The Chronicales or Narnia.
2006: She was nominated for the Best Movie Choice Actress award for The Ten Cooice Awares.
2006: She won Best Ensemble Acting for The Lion, The Wi;tch and The Wardrobe from the Camie Awards.
2008: She was nominated for the Best Flim Star at Nickelodeon UK Kids’ Choice Awares.
